The Academic Council will consider the Course Structure, Credit System, Syllabus of each subject and intake capacity of the courses to be started during the first year of operation of the University, approve the same and forward for final approval by Board of Management of the University.

2014 - Table Mentor at What's Next: Future of Design Education, a confluence organised by the Pearl Academy, New Delhi, Noida, Jaipur and Mumbai on 19 and 20 December 2014 at ITC Welcomehotel, Dwarka, New Delhi. This used the World Café format which was organised in four sessions each with a thematic keynote by a design thought leader, round table discussions and summary presentations that included four major themes and each had four sub themes that were discussed across eight round tables.

2010 - 'LOOK Back – LOOK Forward: HfG Ulm and Basic Design for India' (see Design for India blog)in Kolkata (28 September 2010), the organisers for which were National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad – in collaboration with Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata, HfG-Archive Ulm & IfA (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations, Germany) Stuttgart and Rabindranath Tagore Centre, Kolkata (ICCR). I was invited to participate in this conference, particularly the panel discussions on 'Multi Institutional experience of Basic Design and pedagogy propositions from experiences in design education' and the breakaway group discussions afterwards.

1.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.1 Render advice on the curriculum development & design pedagogy in the area of Communication Design, Media & Film 

1.2 Strategic advice on starting new courses.

1.3 Faculty & Senior Management mentoring / Counseling.

1.4 Identification / selection of talent / faculty for CMF and Foundation Design. 

1.5 Deliver workshops / lectures to students in campuses as per mutually agreed Schedule.

1.6 Additionally, execute the following projects starting from 01 January, 2015:-

· Curriculum Design / development & roll out of 2 year PG Communication Design course.

· Curriculum Design / development & roll out of 2 year PG Foundation 

· Conceptualize, operationalize/ execution of Master Class (generic / specific / international) for 
School of Communication, Media & Film and School of Foundation. 

2012 - Peer reviewed the web course on visual communication by Prof. Raja Mohanty of IIT Bombay for National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning Phase ll (NPTEL) 

2009-2012  
Appointed Professor at MAEER's MIT Institute of Design, Pune, India in June 2009. 
Developed curricula in graphic design; film & video. 
Introduced, evolved and bench-marked new courses especially in the areas of Design Thinking, Semiotics, Infographics & Data Visualisation, Systems Thinking & Design, 'Design for Brands' and 'Communication for Rural India'. 
Served till November 2012. 


  Conducted workshops and courses on behalf of National Institute of Design (NID)
